KEYWORD ANALYSIS
You are optimizing your company's website because you realize
without it, you are limiting your website's potential. Optimization,
however is multi-tiered. How can you establish the correct
foundation for a successful optimization campaign? What
foundational aspect of optimization will give your website
the support it needs for SUCCESS?
SELECT THE RIGHT KEYWORDS
Simple, yet without it, an effective optimization campaign
-- is ineffectual. It will do little to serve your online
needs. Here's what we mean. When an Internet inquiry is
generated at a Search Engine, the potential client will
enter the keyword(s) they want to find. If you're a well
known company, they need only enter your name. But will
the "result" meet their needs? What of the products and
services you provide? Sure, an inquiry on IBM will return
an IBM website, but what if the searcher is really looking
for an PCI Cryptographic Accelerator? An Internet searcher
is most likely going to enter the "product itself" other
than the name of the company that manufactures it. Using
effective keywords is essential.
EFFECTIVE KEYWORD SELECTION
Put yourself in your client's shoes! You, yourself, may
not be the best judge of how others are finding your products
and/or services. Ever heard the expression,"Can't see the
forest for the trees?" It applies in optimization as well.
You know everything there is to know about your product
and/or service. An Internet searcher may not. You know exactly
why your product and/or service is the best on the market.
An Internet searcher may not.
We we will work with your team to determine the "right" and "effective" keywords for your
online company.
GENERAL vs. SPECIFIC
The more general the search term, the more results it will
generate. Of course this means the rivalry between competing
companies is that much greater. More importantly, it means
that you are really "short changing" BOTH the Internet searchers'
abilities to know what he/she wants, their ability to "tweak"
or "perfect" his and/or her search inquiry, and, you are
misunderstanding the purpose of a search engine.
The competition to be the best in Search Engine Portals
is also intense. How does a Search Engine stay on top? By
providing the most "RELEVANT" webpage as to the specific
inquiry that it can. Have you ever changed to another engine
because the results presented to you were in no way related
to what you were really looking for? Give the Search Engine
a little more credit and respect. Can you afford to guess
wrong?
